Roadside Station Kobuchisawa (Michi-no-Eki Kobuchisawa) sits along Yamanashi Prefectural Road 11 (the Hokuto-Fujimi line) in the Kobuchisawa district of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Located at the gateway to the highland plateau spreading across the southern foot of the Yatsugatake mountains, it is a well-loved rest stop for drivers and sightseers. In January 2015 it was selected as a candidate for the national Priority Roadside Station program, and it continues to serve as a hub for the surrounding area.

History

The station opened on 29 April 2004 and was officially registered as a roadside station on 9 August of the same year. It was developed to support tourism across the southern Yatsugatake foothills and to meet the rest needs of travelers on the road. In January 2015 it was chosen as a candidate for the Priority Roadside Station scheme, reinforcing its role as a base connecting the neighboring communities.
