Overview
Mitsutōge is a mountain standing 1,785 meters high at the boundary of Tsuru, Nishikatsura, and Fujikawaguchiko in Yamanashi Prefecture. Despite the word tōge (mountain pass) in its name, it is not a pass, and it is also called Mitsutōge-yama on Geospatial Information Authority maps. The name is a collective term for three peaks.

History
The mountain has a history reaching back as far as the Nara period, when it was known as a sacred peak. It is counted among the 200 Famous Japanese Mountains, the 100 Famous Yamanashi Mountains, and the Twenty-one Fine Peaks of Tsuru.

The mountain lies across the boundary of the municipalities of Tsuru, Nishikatsura, and Fujikawaguchiko.
Best season
During seasons suited to hiking, visitors can enjoy a climb that takes in the three peaks.
