
Overview
Ichinomiya Sengen Shrine is a Shintō shrine in the Takata neighborhood of Ichikawamisato, Nishiyatsushiro District, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is a candidate shrine (ronsha) for the Shikinaisha (Myōjin Taisha) listing and formerly held village-shrine rank. It is one of two shrines that vie for the title of ichinomiya of the former Kai Province.

History
The shrine is a candidate (ronsha) for the Shikinaisha (Myōjin Taisha) listing and formerly held village-shrine rank. It is counted among the two shrines that claim the title of ichinomiya of the former Kai Province. In earlier times it was called simply "Ichinomiya," or "Ichinomiya Myōjin" or "Ichikawa Ichinomiya."

It stands in Takata, Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi Prefecture, to the south of the Takata settlement. Visitors typically arrive by local public transport or car.
Best season
The shrine can be visited year-round, and its main festival is held annually on November 3.
