Overview
The Kashiwabara Museum is a museum of traditional Japanese art in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, centred on antique art and ceramics. It opened in 1963 as the Iwakuni Historical Art Museum, was later known as the Iwakuni Art Museum in 2004, and took its current name on 1 October 2020. Its holdings include Important Cultural Properties and items designated by the prefecture and city.

History
The museum opened in 1963 as the Iwakuni Historical Art Museum. In 2004 it was known as the Iwakuni Art Museum, and on 1 October 2020 it was renamed the Kashiwabara Museum. It is also known as the Kashiwabara Collection.

The museum is in Iwakuni, Yamaguchi Prefecture, standing in front of the base station of the Iwakuni Castle ropeway.
Best season
As a primarily indoor museum, it allows visitors to view its antique art and ceramics in a calm setting throughout the year.
