Overview

History
The Doigahama Site is a burial ground used during the early to middle Yayoi period. Numerous human remains have been discovered there, and it is also known by the nicknames 'Warriors' Graves' and 'Heroes' Graves'. In recognition of its academic value, it was designated a National Historic Site in 1962 under the name Doigahama Site.
