Itakiso Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the Itakiso neighborhood of Wakayama city, Wakayama Prefecture, formerly known as Santo-gu. It is one of three shrines claiming the title of ichinomiya, the leading shrine, of former Kii Province.

History
Itakiso Shrine, formerly known as Santo-gu, is an ancient shrine listed as a Shikinaisha (Myojin Taisha) among the shrines of former Kii Province. It is one of three shrines that claim the title of ichinomiya of Kii Province, and it formerly held the rank of Kanpei-chusha. Today it is listed among the special shrines (beppyo jinja) of the Association of Shinto Shrines. Visiting the three shrines of Hinokuma Jingu and Kunikakasu Jingu (together known as Hinomiya), Kamayama Shrine, and Itakiso Shrine, all located in Wakayama city, is known as the "Sansha Mairi" pilgrimage.
