History
Inbe Hachiman-yama Kofun is a keyhole-shaped mound built during the Kofun period, situated within the Inbe-maeyama area of the Iwase Senzuka Kofun Group. Although it has not been designated as a protected historic site (shiseki), a standing male haniwa figure excavated from the mound has been designated a tangible cultural property of Wakayama City, and is regarded as a valuable example of haniwa craftsmanship from the period.
