Overview
The Ōtsuka Museum of Art stands within Naruto Park in Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture, and centers on full-size ceramic reproductions of famous artworks. Founded in 1998 by the Otsuka Pharmaceutical group to mark its 75th anniversary, it is one of the largest exhibition spaces in Japan.

History
The museum was built by the Otsuka Pharmaceutical group as a project marking its 75th anniversary, at a total cost of around 40 billion yen. It was designed by Sakakura Associates Architects and Engineers. At its 1998 opening it was regarded as Japan's largest art museum by floor area, and it now ranks second after the National Art Center.

The museum is located in Naruto-chō Tosadomariura and sits within Naruto Park. Park scenery surrounds the site.
Best season
Because the exhibits are largely indoors, the museum can be visited year-round and is little affected by the weather.
