History
The green space was established as an urban park on 31 March 1987. By making use of the Akui River's floodplain, a riverside that also serves flood-control functions was opened to the public as a waterside area where people can come near the water and unwind. Since then it has been cherished as a familiar, community-rooted riverside park.
