
Overview
Mt. Fuji Children's World is a large fee-charging metropolitan park established by Shizuoka Prefecture in Kuwasaki, Fuji City. Its official name is the Shizuoka Prefectural Mt. Fuji Children's World, and it covers roughly 94.46 hectares. The grounds are divided into areas named the "Grassland," the "Water," and the "Town," offering space for active play in a natural setting.

History
The park opened on 26 April 1999. Since 1 April 2005, under a designated-manager system, it has been managed and operated by Koizumi African Lion Safari Co., Ltd., the operator of the Fuji Safari Park. Its open areas have been developed in stages.

The park is located in Kuwasaki, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Checking the route in advance is advisable.
Best season
As it is built for active outdoor play, mild seasons are the most comfortable for a visit.
