
Overview
Chiburijima is one of the islands of the Oki archipelago in Japan, and lies the southernmost among the four Oki Islands. It is the main island of the village of Chibu in Oki District — the only village in Shimane Prefecture — where the village office is located. With an area of about 13.7 square kilometres, it is one of the islands making up the Dōzen group.
