History
The facility opened on 9 October 2000, the date of John Lennon's birthday. It was run as a permanent exhibition occupying part of the Saitama Super Arena, a core facility of the Saitama Shintoshin district. Citing the expiry of its licensing agreement, the museum closed on 30 September 2010, and the space was later refurbished into the multi-event venue known as TOIRO.

It was located inside the Saitama Super Arena in Chūō-ku, Saitama. The area is now used as an event space.
