
Overview
Expoland was an amusement park attached to the Expo Commemoration Park in Suita, Osaka. It opened as the amusement zone of Expo '70, the international exposition held in Osaka in 1970. The grounds covered about 20 hectares, and the park closed in February 2009.

History
The park was created as the amusement zone of Expo '70, held in Osaka in 1970. After the exposition closed, it reopened on 15 March 1972 and operated as an amusement park. It was permanently closed in February 2009.
