The islet has two elevated points, Kentourei at 139 meters and Boshihou at 89 meters, and covers an area of about 0.40 square kilometers.
Access
This is an uninhabited islet and not a place the general public can land on. Entry into the surrounding waters is also subject to administrative rules, so anyone considering a visit or approach should check the latest information from the relevant authorities.
Best season
Since general access is not anticipated, there is no established "best season" for visitors. It's worth keeping in mind that the surrounding waters lie in an area of Okinawa prone to typhoons.
