History

Yuho Park opened on March 31, 1951, making it a park with real history. Though compact at about 3,812 square meters, it has long been cherished as a green ribbon through central Oita City and has come to form part of the city's scenery. Known as a promenade lined with sculptures, it has continued to add culture and refreshment to the urban core over the years.

The park lies in the center of Oita City, at roughly 33.24 degrees north and 131.61 degrees east. Located downtown within walking distance of JR Oita Station, it is easily reached by public transport.
