
Overview
Dorogawa Onsen is a hot spring in the Dorogawa area of Tenkawa, Yoshino District, Nara Prefecture. Together with Tennokawa Onsen and Mizuha-no-Yu (Tenkawa Yakuto Center) within the village, it forms the "Three Hot Springs Circuit." The Dorogawa River, which rises on Mount Omine and runs through the northern part of Tenkawa before flowing into the Kumano River, gives the resort its riverside setting.

History
The Dorogawa River rises on Mount Omine and runs through the northern part of Tenkawa before flowing into the Kumano River, and Dorogawa Onsen lies along this river. Some twenty lodgings, including historic wooden Japanese ryokan and guesthouses, together with souvenir shops, make up the hot-spring town.
