This historic lighthouse first lit on December 22, 1929, and stands 15.3 meters tall. Located at the southernmost point of Nichinan Kaigan Quasi-National Park, it is known as a scenic spot of great beauty.

Located at Cape Toi in Kushima City, the lighthouse is mainly reached by car. As the surrounding area features continuous cliffs, visitors should watch their footing while exploring.
Best season
To enjoy the coastal views at their best, autumn through winter, when the air is clear and visibility extends far into the distance, is recommended.
