Afuku Kahaku Shrine is an ancient shrine in Watari, Watari district, Miyagi Prefecture. History

Shrine tradition places its founding far back, with legend reaching to around the year 111. Under the ancient administrative system it belonged to Watari district in Mutsu Province and has been positioned as one of the four shikinaisha of Watari district recorded in the Engishiki register of deities. Through its long history it gathered local devotion, and in modern times it was designated a gosha.
