
Overview
Futatsuzuka Kofun was an ancient burial mound formerly located in what is now 2-chōme, Kano, Taihaku Ward, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. It was a keyhole-shaped tomb (zenpō-kōen-fun) of the middle or late Kofun period, measuring 20 to 30 metres in length. A stone coffin was discovered at the beginning of the 20th century, but the tomb was destroyed in 1949 and no longer exists.
