History
Yuta Shrine is counted among the shikinaisha, shrines listed in the Heian-era Engishiki register, standing in what was once Watarai District of Ise Province. As one of the Inner Shrine's auxiliary shrines, it has long been incorporated into the ritual system of Ise Jingu.
