
Overview
Twinkle is the nickname given to a pair of twin bridges—the Wangan Kisogawa Bridge and the Wangan Ibigawa Bridge—where the Isewangan Expressway crosses the Kiso Three Rivers in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. Both are the world's first PC–steel composite extradosed bridges. They received the Tanaka Award (works category) of the Japan Society of Civil Engineers for fiscal 2001.

History
The Wangan Kisogawa Bridge lies between the Yatomi-Kisosaki and Wangan-Nagashima interchanges, while the Wangan Ibigawa Bridge lies between the Wangan-Nagashima and Wangan-Kuwana interchanges. They were built as part of the Isewangan Expressway.

The bridges span the section crossing the Kiso Three Rivers within Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture. It is advisable to check viewing conditions nearby in advance.

A clear day with good visibility is best for taking in the bridges.
