Overview
Kyoto City Zoo is a zoo in Okazaki Park in the Okazaki area of Sakyō ward, Kyoto. Though not its official name, it is sometimes called the Okazaki Zoo. Established in 1903, it is the second oldest zoo in Japan after Ueno Zoo in Tokyo.
