Mount Tennōzan is a 270-meter mountain in Ōyamazaki, Kyoto Prefecture. Its western slope once marked the border between the old provinces of Settsu (present-day Osaka) and Yamashiro (present-day Kyoto).

History
The mountain's name derives from a shrine on its slope dedicated to Gozu Tennō, the ox-headed deity, now known as Sakatoke Shrine. The western side of the mountain once marked the border between the old provinces of Settsu (present-day Osaka) and Yamashiro (present-day Kyoto).
