
Overview
Odo Dam is a 96-meter gravity concrete dam built on the Niyodo River, a first-class river flowing through Niyodogawa Town in Agawa District, Kochi Prefecture. It is directly managed by the Shikoku Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and its reservoir is known as Lake Sagiri.

History
Built as a specified multipurpose dam under Japan's Specified Multipurpose Dam Act, it was constructed for flood control on the Niyodo River system and for water supply within Kochi Prefecture. Construction began in 1966 and was completed in 1986.
