Ichijo Shrine

Overview

Ichijo Shrine stands in the Nakamura-honmachi district of Shimanto, Kōchi Prefecture, and formerly held the rank of prefectural shrine. It is enshrined on the site of the former Ichijō residence atop Mount Komori in the heart of the old city of Nakamura. The shrine venerates the ancestral deity and members of the Tosa Ichijō clan.

History
