Overview
The Ryuga Cave is a limestone cave in Kami City, Kochi Prefecture, in central Shikoku. With a total length of about 4 kilometres, it is counted as one of the three largest limestone caves in Japan, alongside Ryusendo in Iwate and Akiyoshido in Yamaguchi. It was designated a National Natural Monument and a Historic Site of Japan in 1934.
