Overview
Fudō Falls is a waterfall in Takahata, Hachimantai, Iwate Prefecture, located on a branch of the Api River. It is one of "Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls," per a listing published by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment in 1990, and is also selected among the Twenty Fine Waters of Iwate. It lies at the inner grounds of Sakuramatsu Shrine.

History
In earlier times the site was known as a training ground for ascetic mountain practitioners. In 1934, a stone-carved statue of Fudō Myōō was placed on the left bank of the falls. The waterfall lies at the inner grounds of Sakuramatsu Shrine, which enshrines Seoritsuhime.

It is located in Takahata, Hachimantai, Iwate Prefecture, at the inner grounds of Sakuramatsu Shrine.
Best season
The clear flow of the falls can be enjoyed alongside the surrounding nature in the fresh green of spring and the autumn foliage.
