Overview
Mount Sannomine is a 2,128-meter peak rising on the border between Hakusan in Ishikawa Prefecture and Takayama in Gifu Prefecture. Part of the Ryohaku Mountains within Hakusan National Park, it offers grand ridge walking with sweeping views of the Hakusan range. Its name is said to derive from the number three, and it is cherished by hikers as a key point on the traverse toward Mount Haku.

History

Access
The peak stands on the prefectural border between Hakusan and Takayama, near 36.09 degrees north and 136.75 degrees east.
