Asahidake Onsen

Asahidake Onsen is a hot spring at the foot of Asahidake, the main peak of the Daisetsuzan Mountains, in Higashikawa, Kamikawa District, Hokkaido. It serves as the main gateway to the Daisetsuzan range and, in summer, as a base for mountain climbing. Its name derives from Asahidake.

History
