Anano River

Overview

The Anano River is a class A river in the Ishiyama area of Minami-ku, southern Sapporo, Hokkaido. A tributary of the Toyohira River in the Ishikari River system, it is 9.4 kilometres long and has a catchment area of 8.9 square kilometres. A 4.2-kilometre stretch of its lower course, together with a 0.1-kilometre drainage channel, is managed by Hokkaido as a class A river.
