Overview
Hagoromo Falls is a waterfall on tributaries of the Chubetsu River in Higashikawa, Hokkaido. A tiered waterfall with a drop of 270 meters, it falls in seven stages, and partway down two streams merge. It was designated a Prefectural Place of Scenic Beauty in 1951 and selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls in 1991.

History
The falls form on the Aishipoppu and Futami tributaries of the Chubetsu River, with the two streams merging partway through the seven stages. On 6 February 1951 they were designated a Prefectural Place of Scenic Beauty. In 1991 they were selected among Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls, situated at an elevation of about 1,000 meters.
