Overview
The Konsen Plateau is a plateau spreading across the south-central part of Nemuro Subprefecture and the eastern part of Kushiro Subprefecture in Hokkaido. It is an uplifted marine terrace at an elevation of roughly 10 to 80 meters, covering about 5,000 square kilometers, and is also called the Konsen Field. Its name means the plateau lying between Nemuro and Kushiro.
