Tatara-numa

Tatara-numa is a marsh-lake straddling the city of Tatebayashi and the town of Ōra in Gunma Prefecture. It is one of a group of lakes and marshes lying in the lowland wetlands between the Tone and Watarase rivers. The body of the marsh lies in Tatebayashi, while the Tatara-numa park is in Ōra, and the lake is known for the swans that arrive each winter.

History
