Overview

Daijo-ji is a temple of the Nichiren school located in Hachiman-cho, Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. Its mountain name (sango) is Seisui-zan. Standing within the old castle town of Gujo Hachiman, it can be visited alongside the tranquil, water-blessed streetscape for which the town is famous. Its former head temple was Myokaku-ji, and it has carried on the Nichiren teaching.

History
