History
Shiratori-Kōgen is a ski area developed on the snow-favored northern face of Mt. Bishamon in Itoshiro, Shirotori, Gujō City. The resort lies in Itoshiro, Shirotori, Gujō City, Gifu Prefecture, at roughly 35.96°N, 136.80°E, among the Ryōhaku Mountains west of Hinoki Pass. As Itoshiro is a remote mountain settlement deep within Gujō, arriving by car is the norm. Winter travel requires snow gear such as studless tires or chains.
