Imawatari Dam is a gravity dam built across the main stream of the Kiso River, straddling Minokamo City and Kani City in Gifu Prefecture. Operated by Kansai Electric Power as a dedicated hydroelectric dam, it channels water to the company's Imawatari and Mino-Kawai power stations for generation. The dam stands 34.3 meters high and 308 meters long.

History
