Overview
Urano Castle was a Japanese castle that stood in Dazaifu, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, also known as Urajo, Uranojo or Dazaifu Castle. It lay about 500 meters west of Dazaifu Tenmangu, on the crests of Josen-yama and Narako-yama at the top of a ridge extending southeast from Mount Shioji. It disappeared in 1969 through residential development.

Urano Castle was a Japanese castle in Dazaifu, situated on the crests of Josen-yama and Narako-yama at the top of a ridge extending southeast from Mount Shioji. It lay about 500 meters west of Dazaifu Tenmangu and was also known as Urajo, Uranojo and Dazaifu Castle. It disappeared in 1969 through residential development.
