Himeshima is an island in the Genkai Sea, about 4 km northwest of the Itoshima Peninsula in western Fukuoka. It covers roughly 0.75 square kilometers and belongs to Itoshima, Fukuoka. As part of the Chikuzen island group, it is a designated area under Japan's Remote Islands Development Act.
