Overview
Cape Ōma is a cape in the town of Ōma, Shimokita District, Aomori Prefecture, marking the northernmost point of Honshu. Across the Tsugaru Strait it faces the coast of Hokkaido, and on a clear day the shore from Mount Hakodate to Cape Esan spreads out before it. The cape is designated part of the Shimokita Hantō Quasi-National Park.

History
Known as the cape at the northernmost point of Honshu, it is designated part of the Shimokita Hantō Quasi-National Park. Ōmazaki Lighthouse stands on a small island just offshore. Facing the Tsugaru Strait, the cape lies opposite the coast of Hokkaido.
