History
The bridge was built and opened to traffic in 1989. It connects Akita Prefectural Route 9 (Akita-Yuwa-Honjo Line) on the Akita City side with Akita Prefectural Route 149 (Tsuchibuchi-Sugiyamada Line) on the Daisen City side, supporting travel between the two banks.
