
Overview
Nanataki Falls is a waterfall in the town of Kosaka, Akita Prefecture, on the Kosaka branch of the Yoneshiro River. About 60 metres high, it tumbles in a series of seven cascades, which is the source of its name, meaning "seven falls." It is listed among Japan's Top 100 Waterfalls and is refreshingly easy to reach by car.
