History
Gamagori City is home to several hot springs, including Katahara, Nishiura, and Gamagori, collectively known as the Gamagori Onsen group. Among them, Miya Onsen has the longest history and is regarded as one of the oldest springs in Aichi Prefecture. It lies in Miya-cho, part of the former Mikawa Province.
