Opened on 2 April 2005, it featured theme park attractions such as gondola and horse-drawn carriage rides alongside Italian-themed stores and restaurants. History

The complex opened on 2 April 2005, about a month ahead of the sister-city partnership between Nagoya and Turin that took effect on 27 May 2005. It was a PFI project by Cera Vie Holdings and the Nagoya Port Authority, with the Nagoya Port Authority as building owner and Cera Vie Holdings' subsidiary, Nagoya Port Italia Mura Co., serving as developer. The facility later ceased operations in 2008, and the site was cleared by 2015.

Access

The complex stood within the Nagoya Port Garden pier area. As the facility no longer exists, a visit now centers on the surrounding port district.

Best season

Given its waterfront setting facing the port, spring and autumn are comfortable seasons for walking the outdoor area.
